first jobless monday in awhile. trying to make the most of it, but blinding sun doesn’t make for good photo’s. so pretty much waited around all day for the last 2 hours or so of daylight.

was in the right place at the right time today. on the way home from ridgefield I stopped by the west side of KPDX – or 10R cause I want to be a dork about it. Had planned just to shot some photos of the normal 737′s and airbus A320′s that are usually on the landing schedule. Stepped out of the car and faced west to see a abnormally large chunk of metal in the sky. probably 3 miles out on final, looking at the wings I counted more then 2 engines. oh hells yeah… super excited , scrambled for the camera and headed full steam down the bike path to the runway. and these are the result, kinda tough to power walk with a long lens and get a proper picture… and I shot through power lines!!! but FUCK IT sooo stoked to see this guy land…

no real reasoning for these, had the camera and was close to the airport… and well its a MD-11(f), always nice to see

hot one day cold the other, portland summer!?! what the fuck ever… guess I had a pretty productive weekend, seems weird… felt like I did nothing!?!
